The Field Installation Supervisor is responsible for coordinating mechanical-electrical installation of E80 equipment; Is also responsible for the assessment of how the installation shall be done, check the status of the machine’s prior shipment from factory, keep the installation on budget and on timing, train and coordinate the field installation supervisors, and ensure the high standard of installation quality prior machines startup.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to manage internal or external installation team on site, meaning prioritize tasks, organize travels, ensure the installers understood what needs to be done, and how they will behave at inside our customer’s facilities
- Responsible to assess the most efficient way to install a system
- Responsible to guarantee the high-quality standard of the electromechanical installations
- Responsible to respect the schedule of the electromechanical installation and startup
- Responsible for the organization of installation, testing and troubleshooting for Elettric80 equipment
- Collects detailed information, performs thorough analysis and relies on experience and judgment to determine the most effective method of resolution
- Investigates non-conformance issues, proposes and executes the solutions, share the outcome with the technical departments
- Ensures optimal installation performance of Elettric80 equipment from mechanical and electrical standpoint
- Interprets mechanical drawings and layouts
- Interprets blueprints and electrical schematic drawings
- Provides technical support to installation crew from mechanical-electrical standpoint
- Assist the Site Manager developing assigned project
- Train and support the growth of electromechanical technician, supervisors and site managers
- Prepares reports upon request, for activities sold (costs for days, flights, meals and accommodation for each electromechanical resource involved in the project)
- Organizes and makes sure with the customer and resources, that all conditions are respected for the beginning of the installation (safety requirements, tools, equipment, accommodation, and transport)
- Makes sure all technical or project documentation is available to the resources
Requirements:
- Degree in the electrical engineering or electro- mechanical field preferred
- Experience with Material Handling or Industrial Automation systems required
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems required
- Understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics required
- Expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving complex mechanical-electrical problems
- Self-directed, able to prioritize and effectively handle multiple service requests at a time under high pressure and challenging situations
- The employee must be able to travel frequently
- The employee must own forklift and man-lift platforms licenses
