For our US subsidiary located in Houston, TX, we are currently recruiting a Spare Parts Logistic Manager.
The Spare Parts Logistic Manager is responsible for the SP logistics operations - assigned to the Third-Party Logistic Partner - to include warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes. He/she acts as 3PL Contract Manager.
Responsibilities
- He/she is responsible for the financial and operational KPIs of the 3PL logistic contract.
- Optimizes and maintain inventory levels based on market demand and supply chain flows and volumes, in collaboration with E80 Group Headquarter to align on inventory and sourcing strategies.
- Ensures that quality, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.
- Operates in close connection with the Sales and Customer Service Team to ensure materials are stocked and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Acts as the primary point of contact of the Third-Party Logistic Supplier responsible for the Spare Parts WH operations.
- Collaborates with the 3PL to develop new operational methodologies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Manages the non-conformity requests received from Customers and 3PL.
- Puts in place metrics reporting and performs data analysis to identify opportunities, process improvements and cost reduction.
- Performs shipping cost benchmarking, comparing the 3PL tariffs increase/trends with local market indicators.
- Collaborates with the E80 Finance & Control department to deliver periodical financial reporting: WH inventory trends, depreciation due to obsolescence, etc
- Cooperates with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistic management. Experience in BTB material supply in industrial automation environment is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Analytics, Economics or related field, or equivalent.
- SW competences: Experience in computer and software applications, including knowledge of shipping software (e.g. Fed Ex, UPS), database/ERP/inventory systems (Preferred SAP knowledge), MS Office suite (Excel is a must).
- Language: Italian would be a plus.

- Travel: occasional travels to Italy for training and periodical alignment with HQ.
