For our Bangkok branch, we are looking for an Accountant to support the Company’s strategic activities by managing economic, accounting, and financial processes from an administrative perspective.

 

Responsibilities

 

1) Accounts Receivable (A/R):

  • Management of client information (master data, correspondence).
  • Active invoicing (sales invoicing), with consequent sending of documents to the client.
  • Management of Credit Aging and collection reminders from clients.
  • Periodic checks of active flow (sales) accounting entries.
  • Management of active flow (sales) reporting.

 

2) Accounts Payable (A/P):

  • Management of supplier information (supplier master data, supplier correspondence).
  • Passive invoicing (purchase invoicing), with consequent document archiving.
  • Management of supplier due dates and related preparation of payment lists.
  • Periodic checks of passive flow (purchase) accounting entries.
  • Management of passive flow (purchase) reporting.

 

3) Finance:

  • Management and accounting of Collections and Payments.
  • Relationship with banks.
  • Cash management.
  • Periodic checks of finance accounting entries.
  • Management of finance reporting (Cash Plan, Net Financial Position - NFP).

 

4) Employee Expense Report Management:

 

  • Management of expense report documents and supporting documentation.
  • Management of employee reimbursements for expenses incurred.

 

5) General and Tax Accounting:

 

  • Verification of accounting entries for the correct preparation of the financial statements.
  • Adjusting entries (accruals).
  • Management of tax documents and deadlines.
  • Management of reporting for the HQ.

 

Requirements

 

  • Diploma in Accounting or a Degree in Economics.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in multinational context, with similar dimensions.
  • In-depth knowledge of General Accounting (double-entry bookkeeping).
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of Local accounting and tax regulations.
  • Ability to interact with colleagues and external parties.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with SAGE; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written).

 

Other Requirements

 

  • Valid driver’s license and own car.
